Capitol Honda Partners with other UAG Dealerships to Help Public Schools
It's no secret that the public schools around the country are in trouble. We have all heard the horror stories: outdated textbooks; canceled art and music classes; and teachers buying supplies out of their own pockets. According to Superintendent Barbara Olds of the South San Francisco Unified School District, "The SSFUSD has made total reductions in the budget of $5.3 million for the current year and the next two years including the closure of a school." So we have decided to try and help a little. For every car we sell, the Northern California UnitedAuto Group dealerships will donate a portion of each sale to our school program, UnitedAutoforKids. Our Goal is to raise $250,000 annualy to be distributed through teacher directed grants.
When you buy a new or used car from a participating dealership, you will be given a list of school districts in your area. You simply select the school district of your choice and we'll make sure the money gets to the right school. This donation comes right out of our bottom line, not yours so that you will not have to pay more for your car. We know that we are not saving the world, but we do think that every little bit helps. So thank you for considering doing business with us and if you do, you can feel good about being a part of UnitedAutoforKids.
